Treasures of the Milpa was a project developed in collaboration with @entekio, with the support of the German Technical Cooperation (@GIZ) and the Secretariat for Agrifood Strengthening and Rural Development. Its objective was to create a shared space that connected processors, marketers, and distributors with diverse native maize producers from different regions of Oaxaca. Through the design of a communal table, we shared everything from milpa tamales to tortilla ice cream, with the aim of strengthening these ties, fostering reflection, and reducing the gap between seed and plate.
